Helena Leurent will be the new Director General of Consumers International
Consumers International is delighted to confirm that Helena Leurent has been appointed as Amanda Long’s successor as Director General.
Currently a member of the Executive Committee at World Economic Forum, the international organization for public-private cooperation, Helena has led their work on membership, government engagement and business development, as well as global initiatives on agriculture and the future of manufacturing. She joined the World Economic Forum in 2005 and has previously worked at McKinsey and Company and Tesco PLC.
Helena will take up the post at the beginning of April.
Advocacy Director Justin Macmullan and Phillipa Hunt, Strategy Development and Communications Director, are serving as Interim Co-Director General.
