IBON Foundation are a not-for-profit development NGO committed to serving the Filipino people through various programmes of information, research, education and advocacy. For over two decades, IBON Foundation has become a widely-used and respected data source and think tank both in the Philippines and abroad. It explores alternatives and promotes a new understanding of socio-economic issues and is a consistent advocate of people’s interests and welfare especially through campaigns on issues such as free trade agreements/WTO, government neglect of social services (education, health and housing), the debt burden, water services, biofuels, poverty, the rights of overseas Filipino workers, and cartels in the oil, rice and sugar industries.
