Algerian Organization for Protection and Orientation of Consumers and their Environment (APOCE)
The Algerian Organization for Protection and Orientation of Consumers and their Environment (APOCE) was founded on August 6/ 2015 and is considered one of the strongest associations in Algeria. It has currently 15,000 individual members.
Their main areas of work consist of promoting and protecting the interests of consumers, representing them and transmitting their complaints to the appropriate person. (APOCE) consumer spokesperson also deals with individual complaints and improves consumer education and information by having a short number (3311) and by applying (Achki application) addressed to consumers to file complaints and report any transgression endangering the health, life and safety of consumers.
The organization deals with all central and local government authorities, including higher authorities in Algeria, and considers the organization a force of suggestion and proposal, and has representatives in numerous government bodies, committees and advisory councils.
(APOCE) holds a LABEL on consumer choice called “ IKHTIYARI / My choice ”.
