Kawkab Nasr, Yemen Association for Consumer Protection
Mrs. Kawkab Nasr is the Head of the Women and Children Department at the Yemeni Consumer Protection Association, where she leads the coordination of initiatives and community awareness campaigns aimed at enhancing public understanding of consumer rights. Mrs. Nasr works encompasses a range of consumer issues, including food and drug safety, digital financial services, and promoting sustainable consumption practices, such as reducing plastic use and minimizing pesticide residues. Additionally, she designs and implements various educational programs and community initiatives focused on empowering women and children while engaging the community in the protection of their consumer rights.
Through her participation in the Next Generation Leaders Network, she aims to share her practical experience with fellow young consumer activists, learn from international best practices, and explore innovative strategies to support and empower consumers. she is committed to fostering collaborative initiatives that enhance consumer protection systems at both regional and international levels.
