Oman Association for Consumer Protection (OACP)
The Oman Association for Consumer Protection is an independent, not-for-profit and non-government organisation established in 2003. Its aim is to defend and educate consumers on issues such as the quality, safety and pricing of goods and services and misleading product claims and advertising. They achieve this by handling complaints from consumers and through the dissemination of brochures and publications and the organisation of public lectures and seminars.
