Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS)

Consumer Unity & Trust Society (CUTS) is a registered, recognised, non-profit, non-partisan, non-government organisation (NGO) pursuing social justice and economic equity both within and across borders. Today, it operates out of five programme centres in India located in Jaipur, Chittorgarh and Calcutta, India. The advocacy centre is located at New Delhi, India, and resource centres at Lusaka, Zambia; Nairobi, Kenya; London, UK and Hanoi, Vietnam with staff strength of over 80 persons with a focus on research, advocacy and networking. CUTS’ work is divided into five operational areas: Consumer Protection; International Trade and Development;Competition, Investment and Economic Regulation ; Human Development, and Consumer Safety.
