Chair on Consumer Law and Practice (CLAP), National Law School of India

The Chair on Consumer Law and Practice (CLAP) was established in 2008, at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution Department of Consumer Affairs to promote research, teaching, publication and training in Consumer Law and Practice.

The Chair provides training to Consumer Forum members, government officials, academics and NGOs on consumer welfare legislations and promoting the consumer movement in India.
