ALERT Center

ALERT Center, established in 2019, situated in Tirana, Albania, is a non-profit organization, advocating for consumer protection. The main objectives of the center include: Consumer protection and rights; consumer awareness regarding food safety and consumption; protecting the interests of consumers, both in the face of traders and public institutions and also protecting them from food and non-food products from risks or injustices encountered such as water supply, electricity, telecommunications, tourist packages, hospitals or any health center. Utilizing media to raise public awareness on consumer protection is also one of ALERT Center's priority. An alert portal is available on the official website of ALERT Center, which serves as an informational window for all things related to consumer protection. Since the launch of this system, ALERT Center has implemented several projects within Albania related to food safety and consumer protection. The center constantly collaborates with other partner organization in advocating for the rights and protection of consumers.
