Rebecca Charles, Consumer Advocacy and Empowerment Foundation (CADEF, Nigeria)

Rebecca is a Programmes Officer at Consumer Advocacy and Empowerment Foundation (CADEF) in Nigeria, where she leads initiatives that strengthen consumer rights, advance clean and safe energy adoption, and promote inclusive digital and financial systems. 

Her work spans stakeholder engagement, national awareness campaigns, and consumer-centred research across areas such as energy safety, food standards, digital privacy, and financial inclusion for persons with disabilities. She is passionate about amplifying real consumer experiences. 

Through the Next Generation Leaders Network, Rebecca hopes to exchange ideas with fellow young advocates and explore innovative approaches to improving consumer safety and protection back home.
