Leaders from across our Members and partners joined our call this World Consumer Rights Day, demanding a Just Transition to Sustainable Lifestyles. An impressive 1200 registered for our Sustainable Lifestyles Summit, 120 eminent speakers took the floor, and 110 members campaigned. Together we amplified visibility for our movement and for consumer rights on this global day of action for consumers.
Members and other speakers spoke to the urgency of action to meet climate and sustainable development goals, and how that action can be delivered by more affordable and available options across specific and cross-cutting areas - such as food, energy, plastics, information and gender.
As 2024 comes to a close, we celebrate a year of progress powered by our global community. Together with our Members and select stakeholders, we tackled some of the biggest challenges consumers face today to ensure fairness, safety, and sustainability for consumers everywhere. From influencing global policies to tackling scams and advocating for sustainable lifestyles, here are the top ten highlights from the year.
