Special consultative status
Consumers International is a non-voting member of the OECD Consumer Policy Committee and has special consultative status to the OECD in general. This gives us special access to the decision making process and helps to ensure the voice of the consumer is heard in those discussions. In recent years we have been particularly active in working with the OECD on specific issues such as financial services and the digital economy as well as our ongoing work on general consumer protection.
