Consumers International (CI) is calling for multinational restaurant chains to make global, timebound commitments to stop serving meat from animals routinely given antibiotics important in human medicine including all antibiotics listed as critically important, highly important, or important by the World Health Organization http://bit.ly/20IMbCt

Currently we are unaware of any multinational chains having made global commitments.  This map shows where national commitments have been made by chains to stop serving meat from animals routinely given antibiotics important in human medicine. Click on the company logos for further details.

The map also shows where CI Members have written and received responses from companies, along with the campaigning activities undertaken by Members for World Consumer Rights Day. Click on the action icons for further details.

Information about company commitments presented on this map has been primarily obtained from a letter writing campaign launched by CI and its Members in November 2015, as well as from publicly available information on company policies.

If you are a representative of a restaurant chain that has committed to stop serving meat from animals routinely given antibiotics important in human medicine and you’d like us to add your commiment to this map, please write to aglayzerATconsintDOTorg.
