District government, has launched a campaign titled
Aprende a Comer

The initiative, with the aim of dietary guidance,
included the dissemination of hundreds of thousands of posters to
be shown in public spaces and on public transport.
Seven key posters
'Learn to Eat' includes the
phrase 'it's healthier and cheaper', consists of seven posters and
a food guide that covers:
- The risks of the regular intake of beverages high
in sugar
- The need and benefits of hydration with
water
- Promotes the consumption of whole
grains
- Shows how to make a healthy lunch for
children
- Notes the benefits of eating fruit and vegetables
in season
- Promotes a critical view of junk food advertising
aimed at children
- Presents the number of spoonfuls of sugar in
various products,
- Reports on health damage caused by bad eating
habits, showing the benefits of a healthy and balanced
diet.
Educate on good habits
'The food guide is needed to address poor eating
habits that have led our country to become the second largest
consumer of soft drinks per person in the world; while reducing
consumption of fruits and vegetables by 30% in 14 years; reducing
the consumption of legumes by approximately 50% in 20
years; and replacing the consumption of whole grains for refined
flours,' said El Poder ddel Consumidor.
The 'Learn to eat' campaign lists healthier and
cheaper alternatives, providing useful information to enable
consumers to make better choices.
