Nanotechnology and food safety: should consumers be worried? Join us to find out more about this new but rapidly developing field.  Learn about the latest developments in the nanotechnology of food and food contact materials, and implications for consumers.

This hour-long webinar will include presentations from a panel of experts:

  • Dr. Qasim Chaudhry, principal research scientist at the Food and Environment Research Agency of the UK's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, member of the European Commission's Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety, and a visiting professor at the University of Chester, UK
  • Dr Michael Hansen,  senior staff scientist with Consumers Union, USA
  • Huma Khamis, biologist and head of comparative testing at Fédération romande des consommateurs, Switzerland
