About the role: 

The purpose of the role is focused on generating and developing monthly management accounts information and providing insight and direction to the Director General and Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the ‘Head of Finance and Organisation Development’, the Management Accountant will play a key role across the business in improving data capture and managing reporting across the team. This role will be on a part time basis of 2 days a week.

This role will suit someone who is looking to join a small, dynamic and growing organisation to run the management reporting process and provide timely and accurate financial management information. Systems experience with ‘Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central’ accounting package would be an added advantage.

The Director of Fair Digital Finance is a crucial leadership role to shape and deliver Consumers International’s global programme on digital finance. The Director will oversee the next phase of the Fair Digital Finance Accelerator – our flagship initiative to strengthen consumer protections in instant interoperable payment systems and related digital financial services – as well as building new initiatives, campaigns and partnerships for fair digital finance that support the growth of Consumers International.

The Director will lead a global team to deliver a comprehensive and compelling work programme for the Accelerator, working with consumer associations, regulators, financial service providers, foundations and multilateral institutions. The Director will ensure that Consumers International is recognised as the leading global voice for consumers in digital finance, delivering high-impact projects, thought leadership and advocacy that results in real-world change.

We are seeking a strategic, collaborative and results-driven Advocacy and Regulatory Engagement Lead to drive impactful policy and regulatory engagement under the Fair Digital Finance Accelerator. The role will shape and implement advocacy and regulatory relations strategies to strengthen consumer protection and resilience in digital finance, particularly in instant interoperable payment systems.

Working closely with consumer associations, regulators, policymakers and global partners in the digital finance ecosystem, and with a focus in low- and middle-income countries, the Lead will ensure that the voice of consumers informs digital finance reform. The successful candidate will combine political acumen, relationship-building skills and a network mindset.

We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Communications Lead (Fair Digital Finance)
to deliver strategic communications, campaigns and events that amplify the impact of Consumers International’s Fair Digital Finance Accelerator and broader digital finance programme.

This role will lead the design and delivery of compelling storytelling, thought leadership and strategic communications across multiple channels, ensuring that consumer perspectives shape the global digital finance agenda. Working closely with our Advocacy and Government Engagement Lead, this person will manage the communications and production of key events, including a series of Policy Impact Forums to support consumer-regulator dialogue, as well as peer learning sessions and global campaigns. They will ensure that all outputs from our digital finance programme are effectively communicated to Consumers International Members, relevant regulators and consumer protection authorities, funders and global partners.
