Consumers International’s Global Expert Community provides leading universities and academics with opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives, to enrich the discourse on consumer rights and advocacy and help us build impactful programmes and projectsIn the group, experts will gain first hand access to consumer insights, connect with household names from across our membership, discuss latest thinking and be able to promote their work across our channels.

In the group the experts will: 

  • Help to shape members’ activities, such as through direct collaboration on their research.

  • Contribute to Consumers International research, by being invited to special advisory groups which shape our work or to consultations on research studies 
  • Join our expert panels, such as at our Global Congress.

  • A methodology and tool which shines a light on food price rises, initially in the African region.
  • A framework assessing legislation for cross-border data flows. 
  • Research to paint a global picture of effective one stop shops in the energy sector which place consumer rights at the heart of the energy transition
