Katharina joined Consumers International in April 2019.
As Food Advocacy Intern, she supports members sharing and connection around food issues and looks at how Consumers International can take forward this area of work in the future. Katharina also has a special interest in sustainable diets.
Prior to joining Consumers International, she completed an internship for a food safety NGO in Brussels where she worked on advocacy, projects and communications.
Katharina has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Exeter and a MSc in Food Policy from City, University of London. Her Master dissertation was on the topic of front-of-pack ‘vegan’ labelling and whether it could be an effective way to encourage consumers to eat more plant-based diets.
