Consumer NZ's Consumer magazine turns 50
It's not just Consumers International that is celebrating 50
years as a consumer watchdog. This month Consumer magazine
is also looking back over the first 50 years of fighting for
consumers in New Zealand.
Achievements: In their December 2009/January
2010 issue, Consumer highlights its work and shows
how New Zealand would have been a poorer place without it. The
central pillars of the country's consumer law are the Consumer
Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act - both of which were
campaigned for and developed by Consumer.
