consumers.
Yet knowing exactly how to get the most out of media opportunities
is not an easy task, especially for small consumer groups without
massive communications budgets.

Colston Warne Programme, the Consumers International (CI) media
capacity building project worked with member organisations in
developing and transitional economies to help build understanding,
expertise and experience in using the media to raise awareness
about consumer rights issues.

To help us make the most of media development opportunities, we
approached the global experts in non-profit civil society
communication, the Panos Institute
London, to work with us and three carefully
selected CI members from Asia, Africa, and The Caribbean
We wanted to devise three very distinctive projects that looked
