For almost 50 years, conserving the environment has been a topic
in international negotiations. Since then, a number of
international summits have been held and treaties adopted.
In December 2009, CI attended the UN Climate Change Conference 2009
(COP15) in Copenhagen, Denmark which disappointingly did
not achieve its aim of an ambitious, fair and legally binding
climate deal.
