World Consumer Rights Day 2011 - CI members unite to call for fair financial services

15 March is World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD), and every year the global consumer movement marks the day in a rich variety of ways.

This year CI members around the world have joined forces once again to call for better consumer protection in financial services. From consumer awareness roadshows in Nigeria to photo exhibitions in Macao, and from football matches to Panama to Twitter competitions in the UK, CI members are celebrating World Consumer Rights Day in style.

The theme for WCRD 2011 is aligned to CI's global Consumers for Fair Financial Services campaign to increase consumers' access to stable, fair and competitive financial markets.
