Costs
The cost of becoming a member depends on the type of
membership. New arrangements for annual membership fee payments for
Affiliate and Government affiliate members take effect from 2008.
The aim is to set a fair fee structure for members worldwide and to
make sure that CI provides value for money to its
members.
Affiliate and Government affiliate members are charged at different
banded levels according to the tables shown below.

Government Affiliate member
A simple three-tier arrangement is introduced with the fee
charged according to the country's ranking in the Human Development
Index published annually by the United Nations Development
Programme - http://hdr.undp.org/en/countries/

Full member
Full members do not pay a fixed fee but are required to pay a
percentage based on their income for the most recent fiscal
year.
The payment due is assessed by members themselves who fill out a
Member Statement of Compliance, which has to be supported by a copy
of their most recent annual accounts.
The annual percentage fee requirement for Full members is
currently set at 0.40%.
The minimum annual membership fee for Full members is
US$300.00.
