In search of good practices in financial consumer protection

Governments around the world are waking up to the challenge of how to effectively protect consumers of financial services and there are now a number of international initiatives setting out principles and guidance for governments and financial providers to follow.
However, implementing these principles and proposals is a major challenge and, more work is needed to highlight 'good practices' in financial consumer protection.
