A guide to developing consumer protection law in southern Africa

These guidelines are intended to assist national consumer
protection associations and advocates for consumer rights in the
Southern African Development Community (SADC).
They contain practical instruments designed to:
- Identify, as well as deconstruct the national laws which impact
consumers and assist in the comparison of a national framework with
other jurisdictions
- Develop an agenda for regulatory reform
- Develop an approach to continuously and successfully advocate
for a consumer protection
legal reform agenda.
